In this latest tune, I wanted to dig into the heart of our Internet culture. Inspired (as always) by 1980’s dark-wave, the character Domino acts as a stand-in for our online interactions - a metaphorical dominatrix that we turn to for transactional connection and a confirmation of our beliefs.
It’s a dark song, but I’m hopeful looking at history - new technology comes with growing pains and cultural freak-outs and has to readjust. Maybe we will learn how to make it a tool for real connection, love, and societal growth.

Cover Art: Using a mixture of digital painting, collage, and Midjourney (a cyborg of sorts ;)) it’s been exciting to see what these new tools can do and I love being able to translate my ideas much more fluidly - but we need to figure out as a culture how to compensate the people whose art they are based on.
lyrics
I thought I’d know the future when it showed up
It’s all brand new eyes, and no contact highs its just another new drug
We’re all living our lives at night wishing for enough
But neon lights for knee high tights is not what you call, love
You’re the one in cuffs, so why am I feeling stuck?
Keeping all your dirty little secrets just between us
Sure I can make you feel like you’re not quite good enough
But neon lights for knee high tights is not what you call, love
So tell me what you came for
Tell me what you want to believe
I’ll give you (wa ah oh oh, wa ah oh) everything
Tell me what you came for
Tell me what you want me to be
I’ll give you (wa ah oh oh, wa ah oh) everything
Honey we both know we don’t know how to be alone
Close your eyes, fantasize that this feeling is more than enough
Cause if it’s not maybe I don’t really wanna know
Close your eyes, fantasize that this feeling is just between us
So tell me what you came for
Tell me what you want to believe,
I’ll give you (wa ah oh oh, wa ah oh) everything
Tell me what you came for
Tell me what you want me to be
I’ll give you (wa ah oh oh, wa ah oh) everything
